Johns Manville has been in business for over 150 years and we are a Berkshire Hathaway Company. We have just under 8,000 employees worldwide and 42 plant locations across the US, Europe, Asia and Canada. Our three areas of specialty are commercial roofing, insulation and engineered products. Last year we experienced success when we acquired a spray insulation foam plant in Belgrade, MT. We also forged relationships with Lowe’s and they are carrying our insulation production line. Also, we are working with Wal-Mart to install commercial grade solar panels on the roof tops of their stores to make them more green and energy efficient. So, as you can see we do cater to a lot of industries, from commercial contractors, to smaller contractors, wind and energy. Additional industries we cater to include aviation with 80% of all airplanes in the sky have our insulation product line in the cabins of the airplanes and sports and leisure when the Seattle Seahawks completed the renovation on their stadium roof, they used Johns Manville products.
