| Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis Are you a top-notch Senior Financial Analyst with a hunger to maximize Profitability for your Business Unit? Do you hold a CA, CGA or CMA Designation? Do you want to work for a rapidly growing Green Company? Our client, a leading Green Technology company has an immediate need for a confident entrepreneurial spirited Planning and Analysis Manager. This is an exciting role in a value added capacity. Position Summary: The Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) reports to the Director, Financial Planning and Tax. This individual will lead the preparation of the strategic and operating plans and all other short term financial plans and forecasts for the Business Unit. The FP&A Manager will also provide value-added financial analysis and recommendations to improve decision making and financial performance. Responsibilities: - Deliver financial analysis with recommendations for action to senior management with regard to emerging financial and strategic issues as well as those relating to new business activities - Provide critical financial analysis relating to the strategic plan and the annual operating plan, including advising functional areas regarding reporting framework, guidelines and assumptions - Work, on a daily basis, with business segment leadership analyzing and assessing current and future business and financial risks, opportunities and requirements - Hands-on with budgeting and planning activities including working with sophisticated financial models, performing sensitivity analysis and forecasting. - Develop and implement methods and techniques to improve forecasting, financial evaluations and analyses, financial processes and system functionality - Analyze monthly and quarterly results against budget and forecasts to ensure the reasons for variances are fully understood, making recommendations for actions where needed and updating forecasting methodology to reduce variances to expectations. - Provide technical direction and/or training to management and other financial personnel and project team members Qualifications: - 10+ years experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, of which 6 should be in a leadership role in a multi product line, high technology or manufacturing industry - Bachelors degree in business, accounting or finance and an MBA or CMA/CA accounting designation - The ability to analyze and make recommendations on relevant financial issues or trends in a fast paced environment - Possess the business acumen to impact and influence key stakeholders and drive business strategy - Excellent communication and presentation skills High energy, collaborative team player - Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables in a cross-functional team environment - Excellent knowledge of financial evaluation, statistical, modeling and advanced analytical methods and tools - Proven ability to translate complex financial data into user friendly reports or models for use across business units.
