Victoria

We have an immediate need for Travel Sales Consultants in Victoria with experience selling South Pacific, Islands, worldwide adventure travel, Asia, Africa or around the world.

Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Convert and close inquires into sales
2. Manage current client account relationships and maximize the potential return
3. Create customized travel itineraries encompassing air and land arrangements
4. Manage files from inquiry stage, follow up, closing the sale, processing the reservation to final release of documentation
5. Utilize supplier tariffs and special contracts
6. Utilize communication vehicles to promote our products and services – email, advertising, company newsletter, phone etc.
7. Represent Pacesetter Travel at Trade Shows/Seminars/Consumer Shows

Qualifications:
• Proven superior selling skills
• Ability to work with sales targets and motivated by the opportunity to earn commission
• Ability to work shifts with rotating Saturdays
• Proficient with GDS, preferably Amadeus and Microsoft Office
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Superior customer service skills
• Team player with ‘can do’ attitude
