Assistant Sales Manager for multiple locations JWR - A national leader in the direct promotion of Visa & MasterCard and Retail Credit Card products is seeking an Assistant Sales Manager for the Edmonton market. This progressive position would report to and follow initiatives set out by the Area Sales Manager. In this position you would be leading, and developing staff at multiple locations under our retail sales division.

Key Responsibilities
- Assists in developing and leading a successful retail sales team to ensure achievement of all location revenue targets, operational goals and customer usage commitment. - Assists area sales manager in meeting quarterly client objectives; location pacing, approval rates, usage rates, and additional products. -connects with reps on a daily basis by phone or on site visits to improve sales skills,work rate, and coping skills. -conducts performance audits and coaches and motivates reps to increase productivity. -drives an inspirational team environment to maximize retention and commitment levels of all employees. -recruits,retains, and develops staff in retail, kiosks, and trade show environments.

-Ensures all deadlines for pickup, packaging and delivery of applications from the field are met. -Assists with weekly reporting, payroll, and inventory control procedures. -executes & maintains effective display and product merchandising at all locations to impact sales. -Be hands on in the field 80% of the time to assist in successful deliverables for all locations.
Experience - 1-3 years of related experience, including recruiting, motivating & coaching and developing retail/sales teams - Solid track record in meeting & exceeding monthly / quarterly / yearly sales targets - Experience in multiple locations an asset. - Understanding of retail hours. - Proven experience in leading successful sales teams in high volume customer driven environments. - Strong sales training and staff development background. - Previous knowledge and management of sales targets and direct staff performance (ie. sales per hour).
