General:

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the implementation of projects in a timely and cost effective manner. This will involve working with our client's own clients, partners and project teams. The candidate must have excellent customer-service, team building, communication and interpersonal skills, and a relentless desire to provide excellent service and exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities:

* Manage software implementation projects, assessing the business requirement to be achieved, the capabilities of the project team, and alternative approaches to meet the requirement.
* Schedule projects and ensure they are completed within budget, on-time and according to acceptable standards to ensure customer satisfaction and ensure projects are properly documented.
* Occasional travel will be required;
* Develop a project plan which includes; strategy, project goals, and identification of roles and responsibilities of various project members.
* Ensure the development and implementation of required policies, procedures, work instructions, and standards assuring all products and services provided meet customer and company requirements in a cost effective and efficient manner.
* Develop new business opportunities, maintain good relations with existing client base, and propose alternative client solutions that will yield added revenue.
* Provide pre-sales support on new account opportunities.
* Review, analyze and develop rationale for recommendations to policy changes, as required.
* Facilitate and ensure individual and team roles and responsibilities are understood, and performance measurement objectives are identified, measured and monitored on an on-going basis in order to provide positive feedback on accomplishments and to ensure immediate action is taken to address shortfalls.

Skills Required:

* Effectively lead project teams to successful completion of the project and provide clear direction on how to meet project goals;
* Proven leadership, at least 5 years experience managing staff and coaching staff;
* Excellent client service skills;
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills;
* Superior organizational and time management skills;
* Excellent project management skills, with the ability to set and prioritize objectives;
* Ability to manage multiple tasks to ensure timely completion and coordination of projects

Education/Experience Required:

* Project Management Certification (experience with software implementation projects);
* A degree or equivalent post-secondary education - an accounting designation/degree is preferred;
* Experience in managing a full life cycle implementation;
* Skills in general business management, innovative planning, analyzing and decision making;
* Effective leadership and communications skills;
* Experience with managing client service approaches, methodologies and metrics.
