| French-Canadian linguists/students required for extremely high volume travel site translation Our client is a leading online hotel booking/travel operator with extensive content to be translated from English into Canadian French and, in some cases, edited from European French into Canadian French. The volume of words to be translated is in excess of 5 million and content comprises simple hotel descriptions, booking information and alike, generally easy to moderately difficult to translate. For other languages we have found translators are able to handle 5,000 words a day or more. Students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply. This project will consist of an initial start-up phase of around 7 months and workload is extremely flexible. During this time we can provide successful candidates a volume of words to suit availability --- whether full-time or part-time. After this period we expect substantial ongoing updates. The project is due to kick-off before the end of this year. Interested applicants should send an up to date resume to hoteltrans at andovar.com stating your expected rates (US$ per word) for: 1. Translation from English into Canadian French 2. Editing translations from English into Canadian French. 3. Editing/converting European French into Canadian French.
