| Sales Manager - Power Equipment Our client, a regional leader in the distribution and service of power equipment, has retained us to assist them in locating a new Sales Manager. This is a newly created leadership opportunity based on current and expected product demand. This exciting firm is thriving in Saskatchewan and Manitoba and is looking for a dynamic leader to coach and motivate the sales force. Our client has identified the need for a Sales Manager to assume leadership over the corporate sales team consisting of 6-8 territory and product support managers. You will manage the corporate marketing, administration, coaching, and development of their sales force. Some essential duties include: · Plan and direct sales programs to develop new markets, improve competitive position in their trade area, and to ensure fast and efficient customer service. · Direct and coordinate personnel activities related to sales, marketing, and departmental record keeping. · Keep abreast of technological developments related to agribusiness solutions and precision farming practices. · Develop, implement, and direct strategic sales plans, sales budgets, and goals / quotas specific to corporate and individual territories. · Liaison between sales, service and parts departments. · Prepare sales reports regularly identifying sales volume, potential sales, and proposed client base expansion. To be considered for this opportunity you: · Business acumen with orientation to profitability and strategic thinking · Bachelor’s degree in either agriculture or business · Develop and coordinate projects and to manage related activities and communications. · Effectively present information orally or in written form and to respond to questions. · Balance corporate, team, and individual responsibilities while maintaining good morale and group commitment to goals and objectives · Farming background would be an asset Full position profile and community information will be provided to short-listed candidates. Our client is offering a generous base salary of $75,000 to $85,000 DOE with the ability to earn additional variable income of $15,000 - $25,000 annually. They provide a benefits package that includes a group health plan, matching RRSP program, personal day incentives, extensive training, education, and personal development plans.
