| Web-based Project Manager Raised Media is seeking a full-time, Project Manager with verified & successful formal PM experiences and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience. The candidate must be dedicated, self-sufficient and demonstrate a history of accountability and delivery of complex web-based solutions for external clients in a fast-paced environment while building strong relationships with clients and colleagues. Major responsibilities include: managing multiple projects, preparing and working within budgets, preparing detailed business requirement documents, ensuring on-time deliverables, streamlining internal processes, and managing day-to-day client expectations. SPECIFICS • Effectively coordinate the activities of the project team to meet project milestones and deliverables • Monitor scope, schedule and budget for the project • Prepare project plans, assign and manage resources and execute the plans • Understand project requirements from a business and technical stand point and serve as the liaison between business users and the project team • Monitor progress against plans and report progress to all stakeholders; take corrective action as appropriate • Quickly identify and frame project risks and issues and ensure their timely resolution or escalation. • Find and access resources as needed QUALIFICATIONS (must have) • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field is required • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of 5-10 individuals for at least three years • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience with project management methodologies • Proficient in Microsoft Technologies • Strong understanding of the latest Internet technologies (HTML, XML, JavaScript, AJAX, Flex, PHP, Ruby, SQL, Social APIs, mobile platforms and Flash) • Knowledge and experience using project and program management tools • Strong analytical skills. Quickly understands the business/technical issues and challenges facing project life cycle • Ability to effectively solve project issues by framing options and communicating solutions to senior management and project team • Ability to handle a high volume of work with many deadlines to meet • Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision, minimal direction and deal with standard frequent interruptions • Understanding of rich media applications QUALIFICATIONS (preferred) • Has designed software specification documents • Has been involved with a proposal writing process • Has developed for interactive media • Has experience managing resources across different time zones For immediate and confidential consideration please email your resume and cover letter to careers @ raisedmedia.com, with subject line “Web-based Project Manager”.
