| Senior Technical Applications Specialist General: The ideal candidate for this position will be resourceful, adaptable and able to work well in diverse environments and under pressure. Working closely with end clients, installing systems and training users will give you the chance to shine. A solid technical background in networks and databases, excellent communications skills and superb trouble shooting abilities will be perfect for this exciting opportunity. If you want to travel the world and work in many different cultures this is the one for you Responsibilities: Responsibilities to include: Conduct site surveys to determine customer requirements, develop process maps, create system designs and plan all aspects of system deployment; Create detailed site survey reports and assist in the preparation of sales quotes and production orders; Develop installation and commissioning plans, detailing resources, equipment and materials required to successfully deploy, test and commission systems; Conduct on-site installations, performance verification and commissioning of systems. Skills/Experience: The suitable candidate will : have strong interpersonal skills with a positive attitude; have excellent verbal and written communication skills; be proficient with computer networking and database management; be able to work with minimal supervision at remote customer sites; have excellent time management, problem solving, and analytical skills; be proficient with RF test equipment. Education: Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology or related discipline; 10+ years of relevant work experience in RFID | |
