| MINING EXPLORATION CAMP LOGISTICS & SAFETY COORDINATOR 1984 Enterprises Inc. has an immediate opening for an experienced Logistics and Safety Coordinator for a remote camp in Northern Manitoba. During this 12 month contract you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the site facilities logistics and implementing the 1984 Enterprises Inc. Safety Program. Responsibilities Include: • Logistics for camp personnel: flights, grocery orders, budgets, shipping & receiving, deliveries, and inventory control • Implementing the Safety Program, including safety training, supervision and inspections • Contribute to the awareness of site safety matters and proactively assess and manage risks to site personnel • Preparation of safety reports and documentation including company compliance programs and safety presentations • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Regulations Requirements: • Safety certification including: OFA Level III, WHMIS, OH&S accredited course or equivalent • Strong management, organizational and interpersonal skills • Good problem solving skills with the ability to work effectively alone and prioritize • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with attention to detail • Knowledge of heavy equipment use and safety protocol • 2 or more years of experience with a similar position preferably in the mining industry Qualified applicants should submit their resume and covering letter stating salary requirements; salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
