Concrete Finisher (Artificial Rock)

Duties and description;

We have two vacancies for applicants with at least 3 years of experience in concrete trades to undertake the construction of large three dimensional artificial rock landscape and water features including retaining walls, hot tubs, outdoor kitchens and swimming pools.
Applicants must be familiar with the rendering of an artist’s scale model or drawing into steel, the process of applying, hand carving and texturing wet concrete to resemble natural rock, grinding and scraping of hard concrete to a required finish and the application of acid stains, paint and sealer to resemble various types of natural stone.
Duties also involve the placing and finishing of stamped concrete patios and the application of marcite plaster finishes to swimming pools and hot tubs. Applicants should be able to work independently, have good carpentry skills and knowledge of power tools, the ability to read a landscape drawing, coordinate with other trades and ability to supervise the work of the company’s construction laborers when needed.

The vacancies are for fulltime, permanent positions.

The wage range is from $20 - $32 per hour dependent upon skills and experience plus group benefits.
