| Maintenance Manager We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Manager for our client a progressive Tier 1 and Tier 2 Automotive parts manufacturer. Duties and Responsibilities Overall responsibility for all maintenance activities with respect to equipment and facilities. Responsible for compiling and maintaining the annual maintenance budget. Ensure that preventative maintenance complies with Quality Standards and ensures that the department and employees comply with all Quality Systems and ISO 14001. Ensures that all maintenance documentation is correctly maintained. Maintains the preventive maintenance database. Reduce any production downtime as a result of maintenance on machinery. Ensures that a downtime reduction plan is implemented (puts measures in place to monitor and reduce downtime). Oversees work completed by outside contractors. Responsible for defining and implementing departmental objectives annually. Conducts employee performance reviews and provides regular feedback to employees. Develop and enhance the skills of all maintenance employees. Maintains employee morale and motivation. Disciplines employees when performance issues arise. Adheres to all health and safety standards. Participates in the Joint Health and Safety Committees of both plants. Maintains a high level of professional at all times. Qualifications Engineering Diploma or Trade Qualification Certificate supplemented by a minimum 7 years supervisory experience in a fact paced manufacturing environment. Strong technical skills in both electrical and mechanical. Excellent problem solving skills. Good understanding of PLC capabilities. Posse's excellent oral and written communication skills, computer skills, interpersonal skills and have a demonstrated ability to prioritize conflicting requirements in a timely manner.
