Home Support Worker

I am a very active and independent woman who is in her mid-thirties. I happen to have a physical disability and I need support to live the life I want. I am a considerate and friendly person who is kind to her employee.
I want to find a reliable, hardworking, and fun woman who can work with little supervision. The job is very busy and I am not looking for someone to be my companion although I do want someone that I get along well with. We would work together for 20 hours a week as follows Monday 4:30 – 8:30, Tuesday 10:00 – 2:30, Wednesday, 4:30 – 7:30, Tuesday 10- 2:30, Friday 4:30 – 8:30. These hours are subject to change. The salary is $14.30 an hour which includes compensation for gas. In this job you would get to:
- cook and bake healthy food
- help me with my shopping
- do physiotherapy stretches with me
- drive me to appointments and on errands
- occasionally shovel snow
You need to be willing to use your own car and like cats (it helps if he likes you as well). You also need to be respectful, flexible, and have a sense of humour. I will consider people without experience. Please call 764-0066.
