Technical Service Representative Our client is an innovative leader in the global pulp and paper industry. They are currently looking for a Technical Service Representative to work out of their Powell River, B.C. mill. This position is scheduled to start June 1st. Key Accountabilities: • Act as the main liaison between Eka Chemicals and all mill personnel • Monitor and troubleshoot chemical feed equipment • Recommend required maintenance • Provide training and guidance to mill personnel on chemical applications • Work to optimize feed and application rates • Assist the Western Regional sales team in trials and other projects in Canada and the US as necessary. The ideal candidate must have: • a three year Technical Pulp and Paper Science diploma or a four year degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry • the ability to relocate to Powell River • the ability to travel within North America • good working knowledge of MS Office applications • exception knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety guidelines Only short-listed candidates will be contacted.
