Policy Analyst Turtle Island staffing is currently recruiting temporary policy analysts for future employment with in the federal government Requirements • bilingual • secret security clearance • Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with an acceptable specialization in economics, sociology or statistics. This specialization may also be obtained through an acceptable combination of education and experience (minimum of 5 years of experience) • Experience in policy development. • Experience in researching and analyzing horizontal policy issues and in recommending options to move forward. • Knowledge of issues related to substance use and abuse in Canada. • Knowledge of relevant legislation and international conventions. • Knowledge of the policy development process.
