| Carbon Area Specialist - Montreal Carbon Area Specialist shall have in depth knowledge (8 years min) of the following facilities: Paste Plant and associated facilities Paste Plant Fume Treatment Liquid Pitch Handling and HTM System Carbon Recycle Facility Anode Rodding Shop Anode Baking Furnace Anode Bake Furnace FTC Anode Handling, Cleaning and Storage Bath Treatment Plants In depth knowledge of the above includes: Able to interpret and understand Client provide basic engineering technology package Able to develop and detail basic engineering package with little help Provide direction to develop layouts Familiar with major facility operations and consider during layout development. Able to develop process flow diagrams – including sufficient knowledge to size equipment, storage and other throughputs Familiar with state of the art or industry accepted supplier technology (eg. Rod Shop Equipment, Paste Plant technologies) Capable of providing direction to other engineers and designers Familiar with Scope of Supply, Specifications, Material/Service Requisitions for the following major packages: Paste Plants, Bath Treatment Plants and Fume Treatment Centers Rodding Shop Equipment Furnace Tending Assemblies Furnace Firing Systems Stacker Cranes and Anode Handling System Crushing Equipment Material Handling Equipment | |
