| Student Recruiter The ideal candidate for this position is responsible for recruiting and selecting of qualified applicants for admissions to The Art Institute of Vancouver - Burnaby. The ADAs must manage his/her time and inquiry resources to achieve as many productive candidate contacts as possible. The ADAs also must exercise discretion and make decisions about the suitability of a candidate for the educational offering of the school. The ADAs are also responsible for completing appropriate follow-up to assure successful matriculation and is accountable for quarterly and annual enrollment and start rate goals. The ADAs are responsible for conducting such activities in accordance the provincial and federal accreditation and the schools policies and regulations, consistent with the highest ethical standards. Key Job Elements: 1. Manage inquiries, utilize corporate resources and personal experience, make prompt and effective contacts with inquires and screen unqualified candidates 2. Schedule and conduct interviews. Pursue most qualified candidates for enrollment. 3. Determine appropriateness of candidates for admission. 4. Assure that enrollment and start rate goals are met. 5. Accurately and completely portray the school's educational programs, expected outcomes, student services, and financial consideration to students, parents and educators. 6. Consistently conduct follow-up with all enrollments to assure successful matriculation. Assist other department with data collection. 7. Participate in appropriate recruitment and enrollment activities including: open houses, regional presentations, training sessions, orientation programs, career days etc. 8. Accurately forecast projected new students on a periodic basis for Director of Admissions 9. Conduct all activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards. Adhere to all provincial and federal accreditation and the school's rules and regulations regarding student recruitment Interacts with: Outside clients (potential students and their parents) staff and faculty. Position Requirements: • Bachelor's degree or industry experience. • At least 1-2 years in customer services or sales experience preferred.
