Project Controls Specialist Description: To monitor (PRISM and project controls system) the status of the project in the areas of cost and schedule. Position Requirements: • Experience and understanding of the intricacies and internal working mechanisms of an executing project environment in the such areas as procurement, expediting, contracts, cost control, scheduling, estimating, construction co-ordination, safety etc • Ability to setup and perform the project controls requirements of an executing project. • Incumbent should understand Project Management from an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Contracting, Management) perspective. • Computer software skills in Microsoft spreadsheet, word and databases • Use of commercial scheduling programs such as MS Project and Primavera • 5 years project controls with projects of about the $20M range • 3 years in a supervisory role Education Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree preferred in engineering degree License Requirements: • N/A
