| Geotechnical Engineer: Project Manager Lorica is actively recruiting for a seasoned Geotechnical Engineer for our client in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Our client is seeking an individual who wants to be part of an organization that has instilled in their corporate culture, innovative thinking, solution-orientation and ambitious design; an organization that breeds career growth and development. This is an opportunity that will appeal to an Engineer who wants to take on a leadership role with an organization that provides full-service Geotechnical, ranging from field explorations and laboratory testing to the design and construction management of complex geotechnical structures. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Providing leadership and project management skills to dynamic group of skilled Engineers and Technologists Interacting closely with clients, representing the firm and ongoing business development Ensuring that projects stay within budget and timelines are being met Overseeing and preparing technical reports and proposals Providing mentorship and career guidance to junior and intermediate colleagues Site supervision In order to qualify for this opportunity, you must possess: Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering At least 8 years experience with a Geotechnical Engineering consulting firms Proven experience as a Project Manager, managing project from start to finish A core belief in team successes over individual successes Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Excellent business development acumen, with the belief in fostering long-term relationships Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in Manitoba If you would like to be considered for this opportunity, please present your resume in Word format, in the strictest confidence, with the subject heading "071810" in your email. | |
