| Environmental Project Administrator Our government client Public Works and Government Services Canada is looking for a temporary Environmental Project Administrator. Requirements • Unilingual • Enhanced Reliability security clearance • Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in a field related to the position. • Minimum of one (1) year experience working experience in a federal government position. • Minimum of one (1) year experience working with MS Excel and Word. • Minimum of one (1) year experience administrating service delivery contracts. Duties • Directly supports the Project Manager Non-hazardous Solid Waste Management. • Assists with the delivery of waste management services to RPB Property Managers as well as OGD clients in the NCA. • Provides technical and administrative support on service delivery and procurement contracts for effective and efficient waste management services. • Provides support in developing and reviewing various contractual documents related to the provision of solid waste management services. • Assist Project Manager in preparing and attending environmental events to promote our services. • Monitors, reviews, processes and synthesizes collection service invoices and hauling records for non-hazardous materials recycling as well as solid waste disposal services. • Provides QA/QC to verify that services delivered and charged by contracted suppliers conform to the contractual agreements and specific client/site requirements. • Ensures invoices and hauling records are submitted in a timely fashion. • Monitor non-hazardous waste and recycling disposal and materials recycling funding and expenditures in a financial management system. • Assists with the development and implementation of new service contracts for non-hazardous solid waste disposal, materials recycling and other waste diversion programs • Manages the costs for service expenditures against contracts for non-hazardous material recycling and for non-hazardous solid waste disposal. • Responds to daily enquiries from clients or potential clients for hauling or other non-hazardous waste management services. • Liaises with the clients and the recycling and non-hazardous waste companies. Occasionally assist in conducting site visits to resolve service delivery issues or determine new or revised service requirements for existing clients and or potential new clients.
