Job Summary This position will service a portfolio of commercial accounts requiring demonstrated underwriting abilities and a commitment to customer service excellence. Participation in the production and profit goals in order to meet company objectives. The incumbent will work directly with one of our National broker partners in their office. Job Responsibilities Assesses and evaluates new and existing business - low to medium complexity. Review, underwrite and enter Commercial Lines business including new business, renewals and endorsements. Quote and authorize business within established corporate guidelines and individual authority levels. Respond to inquiries from Brokers regarding modification to policies in a prompt and efficient manner. Develop and maintain excellent Broker relationships. Experience/Skills Required 3 to 5 years Commercial underwriting experience. Good problem solving and time management skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel. Education Required Community College CIP graduate or currently working towards CIP designation.
