Job Summary Develop profitable new business in the mid market sector and work in a progressive culture. Effectively underwrite complex risks, expedite referrals within corporate guidelines and share underwriting knowledge with other underwriting staff with a demonstrated commitment to customer service and the changing face of insurance at Aviva. Job Responsibilities Assess and evaluate new business submissions from across the branch territory ranging from simple to complex risks. Develop new business with target brokers. Develop and maintain strong broker relationshipsCommunicate and negotiate coverage and pricing with brokers. Deliver training presentations to broker audiences. Experience/Skills Required Minimum 2 years commercial property and casualty underwriting experience. Excellent customer service skills. Superior analytical skills. Effective time management and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills. Advanced computer skillsAbility to meet challenging deadlines and perform effectively. A working knowledge of RTM would be an asset. Education Required Community college or university Have obtained or working toward CIP, FCIP | |
