| Manager of Operations, Quality Control and Design Manager of Operations, Quality Control and Design Full Time Permanent Position Fort St John, B.C. Canada If you are interested in providing quality services and equipment to specifically meet and exceed customer needs, LP Human Resources has a client with a position for you. Our client has a position open for a Manager of Operations, QC & Design in Fort St John, BC. They manufacture, repair and deliver products and services to the expanding oil and gas industries and have a highly skilled and motivated staff, where training is constantly ongoing to make sure employees keep up with current knowledge and to ensure quality work practices. If you are an experienced Operations, QC Manager, who has demonstrated initiative and skills in overcome challenges of successfully delivering projects involving rigorous stakeholder and regulatory oversight, this is the perfect position for you. The successful candidate will have leadership experience in the oil and gas industry, be able to deliver manufacturing quality control, design, drafting tasks, be responsible for working closely with internal and external experts both in the office and shop, and work closely with customers providing the “best there is”, quality to meet their needs. You will be accountable for cost, quality, schedule and safety. You like to work in a busy team environment, enjoy multi-tasking and like to contribute to the value of the company. You must either live in Fort St John or immediate area, or be willing to relocate. Qualifications: Considered a must have: - Oil and gas production equipment knowledge - Bidding and quotation experience - Quality Control background/experience Preference will be given to candidates with: -Manufacturing experience -Journeyman Ticket in one or more of the trades; Pipefitter, Instrumentation, Electrician, Welder, etc -ASME design experience and knowledge -ASME Section 8, Codes & Standards, experience and knowledge -ASME B31.3 experience and knowledge -Competency with AutoCAD - Inventory database experience - Safety Authority knowledge Interested candidates can submit their resume by email to LP Human Resources, Attention Laura Pierce immediately.
