Carpenters - timber, log, building, restoration We are seeking a journeyman/woman, apprentice or someone with solid work experience to join a high profile project about to get under way on Vancouver Island. Nice to haves include: international building experience, experience working with heavy timber or logs, exposure to working in a variety of outdoor locations, knowledge of restoration/conservation methods, safety or first aid training, keen to work on highly visible projects. Must Have: A focus working with wood, well rounded exposure to all parts of a build, diverse carpentry experience, willingness to lead a team or work within one, a solid safety record, willingness to work on a variety of projects. Must be able to demonstrate: a keen attention to detail, safety awareness, leadership skills.
