Civil Engineering Technologist/Field Technician

Lorica is actively recruiting for a Civil Engineering Technologist! This is an urgent requirement and ideally suited for a career-driven C.E.T. who loves being out in the field; working on a variety of project types; someone who is looking to expand their skills and knowledge in the field; someone who’s not afraid to get their hands dirty! 
In order to be considered for this opportunity, the ideal candidate will possess:
2 - 3 years of field experience
Civil Engineering Technologist designation (or Geotechnical Diploma)
Expertise using tools such as Total Station, AutoCAD and various lab equipment
References that will attest to working well in small teams and the ability to learn quickly
A resume that demonstrates experience in a wide variety of projects
    
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Conducting site investigations
Foundation inspections
Laboratory testing for compaction, moisture, etc.
Report-writing
Working closely with multi-disciplinary Engineering teams
Project types will include:
Transportation
Residential subdivisions
Commercial
Industrial
Institutional
