| Client Services Managers An Exciting Opportunity to Join an Industry Leader TECO Natural Resource Group Limited (formerly Timberline Natural Resource Group) is the industry leader of environmental management consulting and we specialize in the practice areas of Carbon, Community, Ecology, Energy, Forest, Land and Technology. Our DNA is the expert staff, proven methods and focused approach we employ every day to provide innovative and useful solutions for our customers. We are inviting applications for 2 full-time Client Services Managers to lead business development efforts and client relations in BC (Interior) and Southern Alberta (Calgary) regions. The primary responsibilities for these positions will be to: • Actively develop and maintain long-term business relationships with new and existing clients; • Generate sales by actively promoting Teco’s portfolio of services in the following practice areas: • Carbon • Community/Aboriginal Services • Ecology • Forestry • Land Management • Technology/GIS and Information Management • Work in colloboration with the business development and professional services teams to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction; • Help drive the further development of Teco’s sales and marketing initiatives. Qualifications Needed to Succeed in this Role A Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in business, environmental sciences, natural resource management or related discipline. • A minimum of 3 years natural resource management experience within one or more of these business sectors: energy, forestry, mining, right-of-way land management, government, aboriginal land management. • Business development or equivalent experience • Polished proposal writing and presentation skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. • The ability to engage clients in an effective and professional manner. • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. We are also inviting applications for 1 full-time Client Services Manager to lead business development efforts in our Forestry practice area for the entire province of British Columbia. The primary responsibilities for this role are: • Actively develop and maintain long-term business relationships with many of Canada’s largest forest product producers and government forestry sectors; • Generate sales by actively promoting Teco’s portfolio of services in the Forestry practice area including:Information Management – GIS, Remote Sensing, Digital Cartography, Lidar, Inventory Services, Resource Analysis, Forest Operations, Silviculture Services, Geomatics, Timber Cruising, Cruise Compilation and Biometrics • Work in colloboration with the business development and professional services teams to ensure timely project completion and customer satisfaction; • Help drive the further development of Teco’s sales and marketing initiatives. Qualifications Needed to Succeed in this Role • A Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in business, environmental sciences, natural resource management or related discipline. • A broad range of experience (at least 3 years) within the BC forest industry, and knowledge of related government agencies and forest program funding agencies. • Business development or equivalent experience • Polished proposal writing and presentation skills. • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. • The ability to engage clients in an effective and professional manner. • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Successful appointees will be eligible for Sales Commissions and Performance Incentives upon meeting sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
