Senior Commercial Auto Underwriter Job Summary This position will service a portfolio of commercial auto accounts requiring demonstrated underwriting abilities and a commitment to customer service excellence. Participation in the production and profit goals in order to meet company objectives. Job Responsibilities Assess and evaluate new and existing business on low to high complex risks. Review, underwrite and enter commercial lines auto business to include new business, renewals and endorsements. Underwrite large technical accounts. Conduct broker visits to achieve production goals and develop mutually profitable relationships. Respond to inquiries from brokers in prompt and efficient manner. Experience/Skills Required 5 to 8 years as Commercial auto underwriter with a minimum of 3 years at a senior level. Strong problem solving and decision making skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Experience in MS Office and Teleglobe. The ideal candidate would be a CIP graduate.
