Sous Chef ClubLink Corporation is the owner and operator of over 30 different golf properties in Ontario and Quebec. Rattlesnake Point Golf Club in Milton ON is currently hiring a sous chef. Responsibilities: • Assist with interviewing, hiring and training of all kitchen team members. • Assist with menu planning and recipe costing for all areas of the food & beverage operation. • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of efficient purchasing, receiving and inventory procedures. • Execute menu item production during service times to achieve consistent quality and value to each guest. • Assist Executive Chef in executing corporate approved budgets. Monitoring all food & beverage sales, cost of sales and labour cost on a daily basis utilizing ClubLink’s Kitchen Tracker program. • Comply with all regulatory health and safety codes, working towards creating a strong work place health and safety environment. • Actively participate in joint health and safety committee (JHSC) meetings. • Complete certification on WHMIS policies and procedures. • Complete certification and ensure all kitchen team members are correctly trained according to municipally approved food handling procedures. Qualifications: • Technical training at the highest level of culinary arts, supported by professional qualifications. • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in a wide variety of food & beverage operations, with a proven track record in similar high-class establishments. (Minimum of 2 years experience in comparable position). • Proven performance with budgets and cost controls. • Computer literacy with Word program and Excel spread sheets. • Self motivated, innovative problem solver, with proven leadership and communication skills. • Excellent customer relations and service skills.
