| Business Systems Analyst Are you a service driven finance professional with an exceptional understanding of technology from a functional perspective? Our client a large, Toronto based, publicly traded company needs a Senior Business Analyst to join their team. This role provides overall support and ownership to assigned finance applications and business processes those applications execute. As the bridge between Finance and IT, the Senior Business Analyst reviews, analysis and evaluates business system and user needs and acts as a lead in implementation of projects and applications. Specific responsibilities entail providing technical support to the accounting client group on specific applications, leading project design sessions and project plan development in addition to developing and providing user application training. A post secondary education in Computer Science, Accounting or Business discipline is required along with 3 or more years experience in financial reporting and software / database development. Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are must haves. To see success in this role it's essential you are courteous, detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful. Candidates must possess a proven track record in working with multiple initiatives and projects concurrently in addition to strong business acumen and an understanding of the link between business need and technology application.
