| Business Systems Consultant / Project Manager (Great Plains) Attention Finance Technology Specialists! Our client is seeking a Microsoft Business Solutions' Great Plains consultant to take on the position of Business System Consultant. This dynamic role serves as project manager for systems implementations and systems design specifically within the Health Care sector with a focus on Great Plains Financial Applications. Areas of accountability include coordination of installation, client support and training, product design and evaluation, business process analysis and design as well as support escalation. Reporting to the VP of Global Services you'll be based in downtown Toronto with limited travel. This position truly straddles the line between finance and technology. It requires a professional with exceptional interpersonal abilities and a strong financial background in addition to a detailed knowledge of Great Plains core modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Bank Reconciliation, and Fixed Assets). Superior communication skills are essential as you are the critical link between the client and the product development team. Preference will be given to candidates who understand accounting within the Health Care sector and/or have knowledge of the Long Term Care Health Care Market.
