| Senior Website Programmer/Developer Located in the 401/427 Toronto area, our full service ad agency is looking for a self-motivated full-time Senior Website Programmer/Developer to join our company. You will work collaboratively with our creative and marketing teams to ensure the web content for our clients delivers strong branding and functionality, on time and within budget. You possess 5 years demonstrated web development and design experience with experience managing multiple projects including visual execution of small to large websites, as well as online and email campaigns. Additional responsibilities may include website maintenance and updates. Mandatory Key Qualities: - Strong knowledge of web and interface design concepts - Reliable, quick turnaround and timely communication - Strong English language verbal and written skills - High attention to detail and commitment to quality The ideal candidate will have a very strong command of the following areas: - Must be able to create the front end HTML+CSS, DOM, JavaScript and PHP as well as the backend code to deliver a full, engaging user experience - Complex Content Management Systems using PHP/MySQL for building Web based applications - Photoshop/Illustrator - Support content development within existing and emerging channels i.e. Flash, banners, YouTube, WordPress, etc. - Email, Outlook Express, Outlook, web based email - Mastery of web standards and cross-browser compatibility Additional preferable job qualifications: - Experience working on large-scale, high-availability websites - Creative and passionate about the web user experiences, new technologies and design trends - Thrive on working in a fast paced multi-project environment - Work independently without constant supervision - Applies initiative, creativity and strategic thinking when approaching challenges - Experience in working with servers Interested candidates are requested to e-mail their resume and portfolio, quoting "Senior Web Developer" in the subject line.
