Job Title: Accounting Manager

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience

Education: Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, CGA or CMA designation

Salary: Up to $65,000

Our client, in the Marketing Industry, is currently seeking an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager position requires a candidate who will be responsible to lead, develop and motivate the accounts payable Team to achieve a high level of performance, while administrating accurate accounting procedures.

If you have strong analytical skills and can lead a dynamic team, this could be the role for you!

Responsibilities:
- Review & approve all supplier payments and cheque requisitions;
- Oversee & approve all accounts payable disbursements, vendor adjustments, month end reconciliations
- Assist with internal & external audit teams
- Prepare and submit all register payments and financial filings
- Review all sub ledger & general ledger balances; assist with financial statement review reporting & month end/yearend close
- Ability to mentor and develop staff to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments & reconciliations,
- Oversee and implement financial compliance controls, internal policies & procedures, service level agreements and assist with initiatives & maintain administration functions of the financial system

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 yrs of proficient Sabre knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- Completion of Accounting CGA or CMA designation
- Minimum 3-5 years relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years experience with Sabre system

Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Superior analytical aptitude and proven problem solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Key
