Senior Mechanical Contracting Consultant

With over 30 years of experience across Canada this leading Sheet Metal/HVAC ductwork manufacturing company has supplied best in class ducting systems to some of the largest constructions jobs in the GTA & Southern Ontario. This company, with two GTA manufacturing locations, has been a leader in supplying to the ICI sector and we are currently looking to fill the role of Sales Operations Manager.

Key Role and Responsibilities:

Monitor and control the sales, quotation, market development and new product develop program for the
Company.
Coordinate / Liaise with sales and production for timely delivery of product both direct to customers or job sites.
Work with the production scheduler and plant manager in a Union environment to ensure that an accurate job schedule is kept throughout the sales process with a view to adhering to cost structures.
Develop strategic HVAC sales program for inside and outside sales staff with a view to product improvement and development. Conduct product training seminars for contractors, wholesalers, Engineers, Architects and the like.
Report to upper management and owner directly on a regular basis while working independently to complete assigned projects and tasks.

Required Experience:

Outside Sales Sales of HVAC related products preferred,
5+ years Experience in ICI Construction Management,
Experience working as a Project Manager on General or Civil Projects
HVAC systems design preferable

Highly Desired Experience:

Experience working with a Mechanical Contractor in Ontario
Sales / Sales Management in HVAC related products
High competency working with HVAC, Plumbing and Piping, and all other mechanical systems
HVAC Applications Engineering, operations experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Suite of programs
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and oral communication skills.

Project Experience on:

Industrial, Commercial and Institutional type projects:
Hospitals, Commercial Buildings
Airports, Nuclear Facilities or other
