| IT Business Analyst Our client, based in Calgary, is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst (SharePoint) with a minimum of 7+ years experience. This is a permanent full time position offering a competitive salary and excellent benefits plan. Responsibilities include establishing strong relationships with regional locations (approximately 10% to 20% travel – only short business trips other than initial 2 week training in the US) Work with the Design & Collaboration Systems Leads and the Business Community to determine business requirements and identify solutions to match alignment of both local and global strategies Oversight for projects within the region, including but not limited to; software evaluations, developing technical/functional/system design specifications, scope, schedule, budget, deliverables, resources, testing, and implementation Familiar in the configuration and technical details of the supported applications. Expert in estimating, planning, risk analysis and control of their own work. Expert in system testing, and in running a User Acceptance test/program. Solid experience with Microsoft SharePoint . Strong experience in identifying and gathering the needs, influencing and using sound and persuasive arguments with groups and individuals. Able to work in environment with limited day to day supervision while maintaining strong relationships with remote team. Excellent, above average English communication skills (both verbal and written) are an absolute requirement Prefer candidates already located in Calgary or area, but will consider candidates anywhere within Canada willing to relocate Must be legally entitled to work in Canada (all immigration/work permit status already in place) as well as be able to travel to the US | |
