Payroll Specialist

Our client is letting going of their Payroll person and needs to make a hire ASAP! Huge Asset would be someone who has a construction payroll background and or Ceridian Insync Blue, however the client is open to seeing candidates who have either Ceridian or ADP payroll experience. They are looking for CPA enrollment, 3-5 year experience, detailed oriented, diligent, great time management skills, very good-excellent comms and can work independently. The person will be responsible for issuing all payroll, both unionized, non-unionized, weekly and bi-weekly payroll. The break down is 1 area of payroll has approx. 170 employees which would be processed weekly, 25 employees will be bi-weekly and 10 employees weekly. They require prior sound understanding and experience with processing unionized payroll following 183 rules. Additional responsibilities would be payroll inquiries, processing terminations, ROE and Government remittances. Usually if the person is effective at their job there would not be any overtime and usually 2-3 days are allocated to processing payroll and the other 2 days would be handling Government remittances and ROE processing.
