| Service Manager ASSUME LEADERSHIP OVER YOUR OWN SHOP! We are currently seeking a Service Manager for an agricultural equipment dealership in Saskatchewan. This multiple location dealership has been serving client for more than 50 years. You are recognized for your integrity and trust. You use these skills to lead an efficient and effective team and confidently assist in resolving any complaints/issues with customers and/or suppliers. You will, ultimately, assume responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the shop and field while coordinating the workflow with other departments. In this position you are accountable for resolving issues, monitoring adherence to procedures, ensuring correct diagnosis and repair methods are applied, improving production, providing training for technicians, and assisting with all warranty diagnosis and decision-making. FORMAL EDUCATION - Journeyman status as a Heavy Duty or Agricultural Mechanic is a necessity (Inter-provincial red-seal papers) - Supervisory and communication training an asset. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: - A focused and resilient leader, offering refreshing new management skills to all service technicians in your department. - Strong diagnostic skills in electronics and hydraulics, - Agricultural equipment product knowledge - Your working knowledge of agricultural machinery will allow you to guide, train, and supervise other staff members. - Technical expertise combined with the ability to source materials and communicate information. - Proven experience dealing effectively with individual employee appraisals, reward and discipline, and addressing staffing complaints necessary. - You will be eager to exceed the current departmental sales and customer satisfaction index targets OTHER KEY SKILLS: - Competency with current Microsoft Office programs and familiarity with other basic software programs is required. - Basic accounting knowledge required for reviewing budgeted figures. - You will be an articulate communicator, able to communicate clearly with management, customers, suppliers, and personnel alike. - An ongoing commitment to self-development would be a definite asset.
