Overall responsibility
Working under the guidance of a team leader, you will be responsible for carrying out the daily gardening tasks assigned. You will also help us to grow our business by discussing on-going issues and recommending potential solutions.
Duties
• Perform various gardening tasks (mowing, trimming, digging etc’)
• Helping to maintain all equipment in proper shape
• Helping to plan and coordinate daily work activities
• Supporting operations as required
• Interacting with customers
Qualifications
• Customer service skills
• Gardening Skills are an asset
• Ability to endure 12-hour work day, under physically challenging conditions
• Attention to details, and proven organizational skills
• Ability to lift a minimum of 20 kg
Start: Last week of April.
Niko's Gardening Inc. is based in Thornhill (Dufferin and Center area) and provides the GTA area with grass cutting and Sodding services. We are currently recruiting for the 2010 summer season, and are looking for talented and hard working university and college students.
Ideal candidates are morning persons (we start at 7:30!), ready to work hard, and able to learn fast. Basic gardening skills are an asset but not required. Proven ability to work in a team is essential.
