External Audit Director Looking for challenging opportunity in Audit offering career progression and autonomy? Looking to work for a world class organisation? This world leading Professional Firm of accountants is a market leader in the United Arab Emirates; they employ almost 3,000 staff across the region and play a high profile role. They are current expanding their Audit function and are seeking a number of highly experienced Auditors to join their team. The offices are spread across the region and include locations such as Dubai, Jordan, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Doha and Bahrain. We currently have three urgent vacancies in Riyadh and Al Khobar. The role of Audit Director is highly autonomous and as a result has quasi-partner responsibilities and will focus on the SME client base. You will be leading a team of between 10-15 audit staff; including managers, supervisors and trainees. The role has responsibilities for risk management and signing authority, managing client relationships, portfolio recovery, staff development and maximising the fee opportunities. The role of Audit Director demands very strong people skills and communication abilities; you will need to be able to develop very strong relationships with both clients and staff.You will be CA, CPA or ACCA qualified; currently working in practice (or looking to return aftre no more than 5 years in commerce) and have strong technical auditing skills. Experience of IFRS / ISA is ideal but not essential. Ideally you will be at Partner or Audit Director level from a non-Big 4 firm or Audit Director/ Senior Manager from a Big 4 firm. Ideally (but not essential) you will be a bi-lingual Arabic and English speaker.
