Internal Auditor Reporting to the Manager, Internal Audit, the Internal Auditor is accountable for planning and conducting selected audits at TransLink and its subsidiaries. Responsibilities include: * Providing an objective and constructive assessment of internal controls and business processes, used to safeguard the Authority’s resources and promote economy, efficiency, and effectiveness. * Preparing audit reports for consideration by the Audit Committee of the TransLink Board. * Providing assistance in developing long term and annual audit plans and strategies. * Assisting the Manager, Internal Audit, with special projects as required, and provides advice and assistance. Qualifications: University degree, plus a Canadian Accounting designation (CA, CMA, CGA). Requires 5 years of recent audit experience assessing internal controls and risk management. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Previous audit experience in the public sector would be an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
