| Director China Programs Delivery Our client is expanding its business with Chinese financial services firms and its delivery of executive training programs to Chinese financial services executives both in Canada and China. The clients executive training programs to Chinese financial services firms can range in length between 1 week and 3 months. Reporting to the Director, Corporate Development you will be accountable for the project management, execution, and delivery management of all training programs delivered to Chinese financial services Accountabilities Project planning and developing timelines Managing budgets Negotiating and managing suppliers Managing and assessing instructors Managing internal delivery support staff Coordinating with clients internal stakeholders Arranging financial services industry visits Improving training processes Handling client issues and feedback Working with China sales team on potential future training programs Managing all development and delivery processes. Some travel to China will be required. Qualifications: University degree in business. MBA an asset. 8+ years experience in managing the development and delivery of training programs or educational seminars. Comfortable with financial services terminology and dealing with financial services professionals. Experience in public speaking, managing groups, and managing expectations. Experience negotiating and handling suppliers. Must have effective time management skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and be able prioritize with high attention to detail. A self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude who can work independently and effectively when given targets and objectives. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with exceptional interpersonal skills. Strong customer focus, planning skills, and results orientation. Proven ability to display initiative, motivate and influence others to achieve a vision. Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel). Familiarity with Chinese business culture and practices an asset but not required. Mandarin Chinese capabilities required. | |
