| Commercial Director This position requires excellent management skills, international and national sales experience, someone that is highly organized, motivated and enthusiastic and is looking for a long term commitment. Vancouver Island based leading international supplier of specialty equipment for supermarket merchandising and refrigeration seeks a capable manager with at least 5 years experience in a similar capacity to be trained and to lead and implement a sales and marketing plan directed at resellers and end users of such products globally. The following would be considered valuable assets for such a position: • Experience in distribution of commercial equipment through a network of international resellers • International sales experience • Managing sales organizations • High academic education, particularly in business, marketing and finance • Technical , manufacturing or engineering competency and experience • Understanding and experience in e-commerce • Capacity and experience to formulate and implement business plans • Management style of service leader • To be a team and relationship builder both internally and externally and have excellent leadership skills • Experience in the supermarket equipment business, refrigeration or lighting industry. • Business experience managing Sales or Marketing, or as General Manager • Capability to work with people of different cultures and to cultivate a culture of trust. • Ability to analyze financial data and to identify opportunities for improved over all performance. • Knowledge of various distribution systems, including on line and E-commerce and the ability to implement different pricing strategies • Setting performance criteria, measurable objectives, and tracking results compared to objectives. • Ability to define roles, accountability and responsibilities for all team members. • Setting performance based remuneration system that rewards growth and excellence. | |
