Forklift Operators (Casual) North American Tea and Coffee is Immediately Hiring 2 Forklift Operators (Casual). The Forklift Operator reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and receives all incoming raw materials into the tea warehouse as well as ships all outgoing finished product. Duties and Responsibilities • Receive and unload supplies from trailer or other designated area. • Match appropriate paperwork with supplies and put away to correct location. • Receive and pick up completed pallets from production area. • Load finished product onto trailers or other designated area. • Sort empty and damaged pallets for storage or removal. • Maintain clean and safe work environment at all times – use appropriate cleaning supplies. • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices at all times. • Follow all safety policies and procedures. • Report all injuries to Supervisor immediately. • Complete all other tasks/duties as assigned by the Supervisor. Knowledge and Skill Requirements • Must be certified forklift operator. • Must have good listening and communications skills. • Must have basic math skills and good time management skills. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds comfortably. Working Conditions • Standard warehouse environment in food industry. • Required uniform includes hairnet and/or beard guard, safety footwear, and smock. • Good personal hygiene is expected and jewelry is not permitted.
