| Technical Sales Account Manager Do you have the passion to get into the ‘ring’ with the top contenders in a leading field? Our client is a leading manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders for lumber processing, mining, oil fields, transportation, waste disposal, forestry, construction, and farm implement manufacturing. They offer custom designed and standard hydraulic and pneumatic welded cylinders for use in these and countless other industries. To maintain their growth, a Technical Sales Account Manager is required to assume responsibility for their Central Sales Region comprising of Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Northwestern Ontario, North and South Dakota, Minnesota, and Northern Wisconsin. Their clients consist of original equipment manufacturers (OEM) not resellers and this Account Manager will be working directly with their client’s technical representatives. JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Technical Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for; · Establishing a list of new potential clientele (engineers, plant managers, consulting firms) and developing a targeted sales plan. · Becoming a product specialist. · Developing strong and lasting relationships with existing clients to maintain brand recognition and loyalty; responding to credit, service, and warranty inquiries. · Managing accounts, generating quotations as requested, and working with all promotional activities · To exceed sales targets through aggressive calling and visitation schedules. · Becoming familiar with market and competitive activities. · Developing realistic and progressive budgetary goals. EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: To qualify for this Sales Account Manager position, you must have: · Five years related sales experience, · A strong mechanical ability · Self-motivation including the motivation to network/cold-call. · Strong interpersonal and organization skills, · Ability to work well in a team environment, · Willingness to travel up to 50% thorough a designated territory as part of your daily routine for extended periods of time. · Intermediate computer skills. · Valid drivers license (abstract required) · Ability to travel unhindered in and out of the United States. Competitive compensation includes a general base salary plus additional variable income. Total compensation and applicable benefits will be disclosed to short-listed candidates.
