| Security Systems Installer Job opportunity Security system installer Ref: 6042247 SI Location: British Columbia. Benefits: Disability Insurance Plan Deadline: May 15, 2007 __________________________________________________ WORK DESCRIPTIONS: Security system installer will perform the following tasks: • Inspect sites and discuss with clients to determine security requirements • Assess risks and design security requirements of building facilities • Provide estimates to clients for installation of equipment • Monitor installation procedures to ensure compliance • install cabling, security cameras, DVR, and alarm system • Integrate access control, employees ID management, intrusion and alarm system, and CCTV and IP cameras into one single system. • Integrate all buildings into one security system using intranet/WAN, internet and telephone system. • Develop and maintain good relations with clients. • Be responsible for tools and vehicle assigned • Test installed equipment and diagnose faults Background: • University Degree in Physics, engineering or computer sciences • Knowledge of Security Management modules, computer networking and systems integration • Knowledge of security systems equipment and cabling techniques • Previous experience in security systems installation and integration • Work mainly indoors and sometimes have to work in confined roof spaces Personal Requirements: • Ability to travel within Canada and Overseas • Must hold valid Canadian passport or travel document • Enjoy practical and manual activities • Normal eyesight and colour vision • Ability to work under pressure and to manage priorities • Ability to keep deadline • Driver License • Must have a positive attitude • Dependable • Interpersonal Communication skills • Must speak French or English • Royal Canadian Mounted Police Security Clearance ONLY SELECTED CANDIDATES WILL BE CONTACTED FOR INTERVIEW | |
