Work in a brand new, state-of-the-art facility; enjoy a bright, clean and fully equipped service shop. Currently, this Alberta based company is seeking a CE Mechanic. This proven and established product line ensures the successful applicant will be able to focus on a single product line. Become an expert! Why work in a shop where you end up working on everything? Primary Responsibilities This position is responsible for repairing and maintaining Skid-Steers, Track Loaders, Backhoes, Excavators, Attachments, and Utility work equipment. · Visually inspects, tests and troubleshoots electrical, hydraulic, hydrostatic systems and diesel engines · Provides list of replacement parts and estimate of labour hours · Troubleshoots failures and communicates with customers by phone when necessary · Regularly attend factory training schools · Field Service. Critical Competencies Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills required Perks The business provides each Mechanic with a laptop to use to complete their analysis, tool allowance, paid training, and family flexibility. Desired Background/Education: · 3 to 5 years of related experience as technician of small construction equipment · Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification an asset · High School Diploma or equivalent · 3rd or 4th year apprentice will be considered | |
