Aquaculture Hatchery Technician Play an integral role in day to day operations of live feed (algae, Artemia and rotifers) production and first feed (larvae) production Implement research and development activities that pertain to live feed production and/or the larval stage of marine fish Assist in the ongoing development of procedures for commercial rotifer, Artemia and algae production Assist in the ongoing development and implementation of the quality control program for the live feed production area Play an integral role in day to day care of first feeding and weaning larvae Maintain laboratory records, perform data management and analyses Assist with duties relating to marine fish egg collection, egg and yolk sac larvae incubation, feeding larvae and juvenile production as required Minor equipment maintenance Other fish or water system related duties Other duties related to the operation of a fish production facility
