Service Mechanic Role: The Service Mechanic is responsible for the disassembly, inspection, evaluation, repair, maintenance, assembly, and testing of hydraulic motors and accessories. This person will work at the Edmonton, Alberta facility in servicing and repairing hydraulic motors for customer applications. This person must work with and support all Hägglunds team members located at the Edmonton facility and support some field service calls to customer sites. Essential Functions: Disassemble hydraulic motors using hand tools, power tools, and equipment. Observe and diagnose hydraulic motors. Inspect hydraulic motors to verify functionality, efficiency, and safe working condition. Examine parts for defects and identify parts that need replaced or reworked. Install needed parts to repair and reassemble hydraulic motors. Test hydraulic motors to meet factory specifications. Perform all other duties as necessary. Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or its equivalent. Certificate of Achievement in a federally certified Millwright Program considered a plus. Two to four years as a Service Mechanic or relative position. Two to four years in the field of hydraulics or related field. Hydraulics, Power Transmission exposure/experience. Ability to travel to customer sites by car and/or plane. Possession of a valid driver's license. Potential to travel internationally.
