The company serves a broad list of clients including many of Canada's top 500 companies with a client list comprised of organizations in such diverse fields as financial services, manufacturing, retailing, communications, health care, education, public utilities and government. Services offered include: -Hard Copy Document Capture (Digital, Film, Backfile Conversion) -Automated Invoice Processing Services -Inbound Mailroom Conversion Services -Indexing (Manual, Auto, OCR, Barcode) -Internet Document Retrieval (Image Warehousing) -COLD/ERM Processing (Print Image Files) -Conversion To PDF -Internet/Extranet Data Hosting -Disaster Recovery Archiving -Microfilm Scanning Products offered include: -Retrieval software (single or concurrent user) -In-house (mission critical) applications software -Scanners -Mass Storage Devices Benefits to Customers are: -Improved customer service through shorter response times -Increased employee productivity through faster document retrieval -Reduced document handling costs and document storage costs -Reduced risk of lost or misplaced documents -Increased efficiency in application processes THE OPPORTUNITY An opportunity exists for a junior level Data Admin Associate who possesses the following experience and qualifications: - Industry experience working in a data processing/admin role essential. - Strong Microsoft Access and Excel Skills. - Good understanding of processing workflows and various data formats essential. - Good understanding of database systems. - Experience with archiving of data. - Previous quality control (QC) experience essential. - Focus on quality control. - Good written & spoken English language ability. - Team Player - must work effectively by actively contributing to the accomplishment of goals. - Proactive - service orientated. - Flexibility in responding to changing schedules. - Positive attitude and problem solving approach. - Good time management skills - able to work to exacting deadlines and time scales. - Self-motivated Strong Assets would be: - Previous experience in a document scanning or document management environment. - Database management background with some SQL and IT experience. There is some flexibility on work hours for this position with the choice of working from either 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. COMPENSATION Compensation for this excellent opportunity consists of salary in the $25K to $30K range depending on experience and qualifications.
