| Telecommunications Sales & Business Development Specialist-Orillia THE COMPANY A full service telecommunications provider with a newly acquired sales office in Orillia. Authorized dealer for Toshiba Business Telephone Systems and peripherals (voice mail, VoIP, ACD, etc.) and certified to provide structured cabling with Hubbell Canada. Provides and install outside telephone plant and fiber optics cables. In business since 1994 they have grown to become the largest provider in their region achieving top sales with Toshiba in their category in Canada 4 out of the last 5 years. With three full time fully trained technicians and 24/7 response for customers they are customer and customer service oriented. THE OPPORTUNITY As the Telecommunications Sales & Business Development Specialist you will take full advantage of an existing partial database and your above average sales and business development skills including cold calling and relationship building, to win a significant portion of the estimated $3 Million to $4 Million in business telecommunication revenue available annually in this community where based on a company study, you would be representing the largest local player offering telecommunications products and services, with a goal to be the obvious choice to the local business community. COMPENSATION The competitive compensation package for this opportunity includes base compensation of up to $2,500 per month depending on experience and qualifications, plus commission providing for annual income potential in the $50K to $60K range. QUALIFICATIONS/KEY REQUIREMENTS Our ideal candidate will have previous experience selling business telecommunication products and services along with experience in data and data systems as there are plans for expansion into the field to provide customers with a one-stop solution for their needs in both areas. Complimenting your solid understanding of telecommunications and telephone systems in general you will have displayed through pervious experience, exceptional presentation skills, the ability to interact effectively with executive and management level individuals, an understanding of technology, and willingness to become a virtual subject expert for the products and services you will be representing AND those offered by competitors. You must have a verifiable track record of success in new business and territory development and a sales style that is consultative and customer focused with a sincere desire to provide the customer with a product and service that will benefit them and that they would recommend to their sphere of influence.
