| Fundraiser and Sales Representative - World Vision World Vision is a Christian, humanitarian relief and development organization working to alleviate poverty in over 90 countries around the globe. This summer we are offering an exciting opportunity where you can make a difference in the lives of children around the world! Team Lead a passionate fundraising team whose mission is to promote child sponsorship for our 2009 Summer Mall Campaign. The campaign will take place at St Laurent Shopping Center, Place d’Orléans and Bayshore Shopping Center in Ottawa. Who are we looking for? World Vision is seeking outgoing, sales-oriented Team Leaders who can represent World Vision in a responsible and professional way to raise funds via one-to-one conversations in a mall setting. This position is for a mature candidate with proven sales, fundraising or promotion experience and previous team management and leadership experience. The role of Fundraising Team Leader includes... • Training, motivating and ongoing coaching of your team to ensure fundraising goals are exceeded. • Scheduling your team members. • Tracking team member’s daily performance. • Maintaining ownership and accountability for overall fundraising goals. • Daily Sponsorship/Sales reconciliation & reporting to Campaign Manager. What makes a Superstar Team Leader? Do you like people? Do you have plenty of stamina and heaps of energy? Are you friendly, possess terrific communication skills and enjoy working in a team environment? Are you self-motivated, competitive and goal oriented? If you have a sales background and were always a top performer or, you have worked in promotions and enjoy striking up a conversation with a perfect stranger than we are interested in having you on our fundraising team.
